The Saul Berson Jazz Trio, a Vancouver-based ensemble whose “From Here to Beyond” CD was nominated in the Best Jazz Album category for the West Coast Music Awards. This recording, as well as the band’s latest release, “Not Here, Not Now”, has been very favourably reviewed in many publications including Coda, Planet Jazz and Cadence (U.S.A.), and receives extensive air-play both in Canada and the U.S.A.
Saul has been a featured artist at numerous jazz festivals including the prestigious Vancouver International Jazz Festival. In addition to leading his group, Saul is a member of the NOW and Hard Rubber Orchestra as well as leading a very busy freelance schedule of performing and teaching.
